SurvivorAlways 7 @MyLife4Me79 1d Schindler’s List is another masterpiece by Stephen Spielberg and it is absolutely a must watch for everyone at least once. The casting of this film is perfection as well. Liam Neeson, Ben Kingsley and Ralph Fiennes are all absolutely amazing in their roles here. This may be Liam Neeson’s career best performance. The score is also just hauntingly beautiful. Also, I hate black and white movies because they ruin the realism for me but it works in this movie because it’s intentional and serves a purpose in highlighting something very important. Filmed entirely in black and white for absolutely no reason, but we'll have a scene at the end in colour just so you know it could've been filmed in colour. But obviously people during the war couldn't see in colour so it's way more historically accurate, or is it just a stupid idea made with the intention of being clever and arty. JoJo Rabbit is a far better story about the horrors of the holocaust, and does not waste your time with unnecessary black and white rubbish. It's a hauntingly beautiful creation and was the first of its kind to portray the Holocaust like this. The colour choices (hints of red, black and white), the cast, and the historic accuracy of this movie is beyond anything I have ever seen. The attention to detail and the impressive decisions and creativity to tell such an emotionally devastating story like this was beyond amazing and I truly do not think another movie could come parallel to it. Every student needs to watch this in highschool. Every person should watch this atleast once in their lifetime. It is so educational and comes to show us that the world can be a cruel place but that if there's even a tiny fraction or sliver of hope and kindness, humanity and the good in this world can survive. It's so hard to formulate the words to describe this film, so all I can say is it is absolute PERFECTION. Please give this movie the attention and the audience it deserves!
