Jesse A @SheriffJustice Aug 17 My wife got me to watch this movie. I thought sure I would hate it. As we started to view it I looked it up in Rotten Tomatoes. Reviews were poor. As I watched the movie I realized the movie was actually very good. The actors did a convincing job. The director was clever in his scene setups, mirrors, light and shadow. I believe the writing was a story of real people. A story of what real people are looking for when not confused by trendy society. See more 01/02/2016 Best movie I've seen all year. Okay, it's 2016, but still. Great performances all around, and don't hate me for saying this, but this is the best I've seen Roy Scheider. He's more vulnerable here than I've ever seen him before. I caught it on TCM, but if you missed it, it's on The Paramount Vault on YouTube, an awesome legal channel for watching a ton of stuff, a lot of which has never been on DVD or VHS, like this one.
