A bonkers-crazy comedy-horror with a fun cast and legit laughs. Doesn’t skimp on the gore, either. Set in a high-end retail clothing store, a shipment of a new brand of in demand jeans arrive. As staff prepare overnight for their release the following day, it becomes evident that something is amiss – the new jeans are possessed and embark on a bloody campaign to kill the staff…and they love to dance to Bollywood music. As crazy as it sounds (and it is crazy), it’s an effective mix of comedy and gruesome horror, a satire that skewers retail practices, corporate malpractice, and social media. While it’s not without its flaws, it’s got some respectable production values for a low-budget movie and, wisely, never takes itself too seriously. And it’s worth watching just to say that you watched a movie about murderous pants.
