Torin F @nonlinearize Oct 18, 2026 SWISS ARMY MAN thoroughly demonstrates the directors' remarkable filmmaking talent, amplified by the effectiveness with which they carry their absurd premise to its limit, with a committed cast fully on board. That said, the directors' craft is not matched here by narrative or emotional depth, and (especially in the bungled final act) the film amounts to little more than a long form juvenile joke that undermines its own attempt at real artistry. See more Jens B @Jens97 Oct 3, 2026 Quirky, funny, brilliantly acted, and featuring an emotional finale that unfortunately feels a bit unfocused—or perhaps tries to do too much—it is essentially the blueprint for the truly sensational *Everything Everywhere All at Once*. See more Hayleigh P @haytay.shows22 Sep 15, 2026 This movie is f ‘ed up but funny at the same time, it’s definitely got its “what the f” moments but I think that’s what makes it lmao See more dhontski T @Eldonte Jul 17, 2026 Looking at some of the other reviews, its probably an acquired taste. You absolutely love or hate it. To me it was very refreshing, the guy who got this script signed of to make and receive budget is an amazing pitcher, because its weird as concept. In reality they made a very original, funny and touching artwork. I watched it with a big smile and would recommend any friend. See more Fenice M @Fenice Jul 17, 2026 Rarely has a movie provoked so many thoughts and questions. Its depth is masterfully balanced with the physical comedy (one of the best I have ever witnessed), and while you laugh you start to think, to understand, that the movie is not a lighthearted walk in the park having a laugh with friends, but a story that gives you questions to think about. And those are the best stories, those that remain. The way in which a beautiful dream is distorted and twisted and ends up being seen as a contorted abomination near the end is the apex of an emotional story that, if seen with watchful eyes, will gift you with a deep emotional journey into what love truly is. See more Aighluv S @RT32075404 Jul 8, 2026 Man who thought Daniel Radcliffe can act this much? He was like the weakest actor in the original Harry Potter. This movie isn't without its faults but it definitely deserves 5 stars for its somewhat charming and absolutely bonkers plot snd execution. See more Read all reviews
