Incentive, creative, well acted, well realized story. This may be the slasher film with kindest core ever. Underneath the campy gore, this is a film about connection, desire, love and sexual satisfaction. I went expecting something like Tucker and Dale versus Evil or Cabin in the Woods. I came out of feeling like I had witness some magical, a little wicked, and profoundly moving. Top tier!

What initially began as a meta-self commentary on slasher movie series with social issues being mentioned quickly devolved into a romance book of two women stuck in a cabin and then quickly steers back to the main plot in modern world and by the end a detour to allegory town. One older, one half their age. And then there's a somewhat campy movie spliced in the middle. Prop design was excellent nonetheless. The movie should have stopped 10 minutes earlier.
