Cole M. @colemcq 5d Wow. What to say, this starts as a normal slow burn horror movie where there’s an evil witch or spirit that eats children and ruins your life. It ends with a deep and quiet ending that makes you reconsider every thought you’ve had whilst watching the movie. I’m sure this is one of those movies you can rewatch a second time and actually enjoy more than the first. Overall I enjoyed the idea of the movie more then actually watching the movie, even with only an hour and 25 minute run time the first hour and ten minutes felt closer to 3. It wraps up in a satisfying way and I think it was beautifully done for what this movie was but in the end to call this “horror” or even a good first watch is probably a stretch. I felt it moved too slow for any higher rating then a 3.5 , the concept was great and the performances were solid but I think once this left the idea board and moved into production it was hard to capture people’s attention in a meaningful way to make the ending feel worth your time spent to get there. See more Regan M. @reganlikesbugs222 5d Wow. This movie is crazy. Honestly, the first hour of the movie is quite slow and doesn’t make much sense. Once you hit the last moments of the movie everything changes, every perspective is different. I really liked this movie, it shows how hard it can be on children of parents with dementia. It’s super sad at the end and makes me want to cry but really shows the reality of what a lot of people go through when their parents develop this kind of illness. :( See more Ciera L @Movieliker Feb 7 Y'all, I love this movie so much. At first, you think it's the average monster movie where a witch eats the babies, but then it turns into an emotional concept where a mother is grieving her deceased infant and has overlooked her other child on accident.
