Twenty years after Maria Rossi (Suzan Crowley) murdered three people, her daughter, Isabella (Fernanda Andrade), seeks the truth about that terrible night. Isabella travels to an Italian hospital for the criminally insane -- where Maria is locked away -- to find out whether her mother is mentally ill or demonically possessed. With the help of two young exorcists (Simon Quarterman, Evan Helmuth), Isabella tries to cure Maria -- and engages four demons in a battle for her mother's soul.

Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas de terror são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom

So much better than the rating suggests. One of the best ever done. Especially since the budget was only $1m. Remarkable. An institution. $101 million at the box office doesn’t lie.

The potential was there, but it fell victim to the usual issues that "found footage" films fall into. Segments where you ask yourself, why are they filming, why is the footage so purposely shaky and filled with quick short zooms, and also how did this footage get rescued after all was said and done. I feel it would have been a little better if they discarded the unnecessary "found footage" aspect.

Don't know what people are so mad about. It was a decent film with a lot of attention to detail to make it seem like real found footage. At end I actually visited a made up website shown in the end. I like how it didn't show distorted humanoid as demons. Jumpscares are good and movie holds your attention till the very end.
