Edward T @RT50749346 Oct 23, 2026 What an amazing movie!!! I saw it 3x in the cinema! Don't read about it before watching. But twist after twist. The score was simply perfect! Especially in the 3rd act. The best movie of the 2000s, and probably a top 5, if not top 10 ever! See more SIMAS C @simas_eros Oct 19, 2026 A remarkable film on every level, featuring a surprising and intoxicating narrative that—despite its long runtime—keeps us attentive to every detail, every silence, and every breath. It is a game of deception, with an eroticism that is both present and latent—sometimes revealed, sometimes concealed—where an erotic intent is almost always at play. We are drawn in and led astray by a story of passion, betrayal, humiliation, violence, and, ultimately, a profoundly erotic love. Simply wonderful. See more Thyaagu C @Thyaagu Jun 11, 2026 Somewhere between "wow" and "what the hell" lies pure cinema. This wasn’t a movie… it was a 145-minute emotional, hypnotic, manipulative session! See more Jeney Vieve M @RT51824224 May 10, 2026 Mind-bending, made me question my film predictability score (and my sanity of course.) See more Leprechaun K @LeprechaunKing Apr 29, 2026 Like Park's other movies, Handmaiden is written for sheer shock values with gimmicky plot twists that lack substance and depth. The director's usual theme of perversion serves as the building block of the story and the movie as a whole is pretentious at best. Quite frankly, some of the scenes are simply appalling and disgusting. All the twists and turns seem illogical and forced. It is grossly overrated to say the least.
