Dave Skylark (James Franco) and his producer Aaron Rapoport (Seth Rogen) are the team behind the popular tabloid-TV show "Skylark Tonight." After learning that North Korea's Kim Jong-un (Randall Park) is a huge fan of the show, they successfully set up an interview with him, hoping to legitimize themselves as actual journalists. However, as Dave and Aaron prepare for their journey to Pyongyang, the CIA steps in, recruits them, and assigns them an incredible mission: Assassinate the dictator.

In all honesty I love Seth Rogan, Randall Park, and James Franco and they did an amazing job acting with what the script had. Yet for me this movie fell short a lot. They say comedies are the hardest movies to rate because of the sheer subjectivity that come with them, same thing with horror. All I can tell you is that it is 100% a dated film. It's not a bad movie in the slightest it's just not that good either. The jokes land every now and then and the acting is of course great especially with this cast. I just wish it had aged a little bit better. 3.4/10 definitely watch this with at least 2 friends, trust me it makes the movie 4x better.

I'm somewhat afraid to write this review, but this movie is absolutely hilarious. While I will not glorify the overall plot of the movie, every minute had me dying laughing. This is one of the most enjoyable movies I have ever watched. I definitely recommend it for comedy fans!
