Sophie B @RT18557330 May 31 I'm with the several other people who created an account just to rate this movie badly. the only thing that kept me watching was how laughably horrible it was. the acting was really bad, especially the main bad guy. I can't say much about the camera angles or the lighting, but the acting was just horrible. I really don't know why they picked Armando for that type of character. it just didn't make any sense for so many different reasons. to be fair, I'm sure that the script had something to do with how bad the acting was on everyone's part, (except for William and I also liked jo Marie). either way, it was just really bad altogether. See more Jessica J @RT26758806 06/23/2023 I found this film quite by accident, but I must say that it is a refreshing palate cleanser after watching Disney's disastrous 2023 live-action remake of The Little Mermaid. It's not perfect but this film feels far more like what Disney's should have been. The story is original and interesting, finding a wonderful balance between the original Hans Christian Anderson tale and a more modern spin. The acting is on point for the most part and the special effects are wonderfully done. It can get a little cheesy at some points, but not enough to throw off the viewer. As a whole, this film is excellent and a much better alternative to the 2023 Disney film. I'd certainly recommend giving it a watch.
