Good concept, delightful cast, but a mess of a script made this an uneven and ultimately disappointing film. I counted at least 8 subplots, 5 or 6 of which should have been abandoned in the writer's word processor. And despite marketing that made me think I was going to see a madcap comedy, this was a very sad drama with a few jokes tossed in. Borderline worthy of your attention.

I was surprised to see so many people in an afternoon show, don’t these people have jobs lol? Normally, it’s just me & 2 or 3 peeps watching. It’s one of those saccharine, cutesy dramedies that manipulatively pull heart strings & does a fairly good job though I can’t help thinking how director thinking yup, here is where they cry & here is where they get emotional. Everything felt contrived & just happens suddenly with no real reason or unity of plot.

what a great opening, wonderful ending and outstanding story in the middle. what more could you ask for. if you like classical music, you got that too. only two minor complaint. subtitle sometime when by too fast and unable to read it all and sometime it was white on white and unable to read it. but it is well worth your money and time.
