The cast - including James Corden - throw themselves into it with gusto, and then deliver. Great music, choreography and sense of humour. I don’t understand why it is receiving so much hate! Musicals are amazing and the message in this film was so beautiful and related to my life and so many others out there, it literally made me cry the entire time, but they were all happy tears. Also why are the celebs getting so much hate I love them they were amazing! I wasn’t even expecting it to be that good since it was just a random movie off of Netflix but then once I started watching it and realizing what it was about, I never wanted it to end! We need more movies with this amount of representation that are enjoyable to watch and not just a love story and that’s all it is. This movie pulls you in and doesn’t let go and it makes you feel so happy but sad at the same time when it’s over. Don’t listen to what the other comments say. This is an absolute masterpiece and must see, and this is coming from a 17-year-old Who’s part of the community! 🏳️‍🌈love y’all and happy watching ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ See more VITALII H @freakynickison Nov 15 A couple of Broadway stars are having a hard time winning critical acclaim for their work and so just happened that something that was trending on X caught their attention that could get them some good press. In Indiana there’s a girl Emma who’s a lesbian and wanted to bring her date to the prom. Instead of allowing the students to have a blast at the prom - the head of PTA, Mrs. Greene, decided to cancel the prom entirely simply because she don’t wanna see 2 lesbians at the prom, imagine that. So these actors decided to help Emma just to prove that they are not narcissists. They pretended to care until they really did care about this issue! The first half of the movie kinda tells everything you need to know about this musical and when you think that there’s nothing that can happen to make it better - we dive into each of main characters’s stories and issues. The more you watch the more you like the movie. The ending was very heartwarming. Matter fact, I really liked James Corden in this, that took me by surprise.
