Agustin G @RT57326730 Aug 24 The movie is good, it gets you interested and the subject is very dark underneath. The problem for me is that has schewed politics, of course since the CIA carried enhanced interrogation under the Republicans then it was devilish but when the Dems were ordering drone attacks on weddings of course it was necessary. War is evil and to win it you have to do evil things, the Psychiatrists were the evil ones in this since they sanctioned torture (enhanced interrogation like water boarding, sleep deprivation, uncomfortable positions for hours on end) without proof they could extract intelligence. It hooks the viewer from the first moment. Some topics addressed in the movie are disgustingly disturbing from a conciouncicus prospective. It is a deep dive on how the dirty business of running a country is handled. Well acted and directed. Adam Driver delivers an exceptional performance as Daniel Jones, capturing the determination, isolation, and moral burden of a man navigating a system built to silence him. If the film has one flaw, it’s that it jumps directly into the procedural story without much introduction to the characters, which can make the opening feel slightly chaotic. But once you settle in, the intensity takes hold, and it becomes nearly impossible to look away.
