THE SALT PATH is the profound true story of husband and wife, Raynor and Moth Winn's 630-mile trek along the beautiful but rugged Cornish, Devon and Dorset coastline. So for all the committed acting and gorgeous green-and-pleasant-land scenery packed into the movie, its story might be worth taking with at least a grain of, well, you get the gist.

A hidden gem, a modern masterpiece. There is something special about this film. If you are into character films, into little hidden gems then this film is for you. Highly recommend it

Amor of the reviews are slating the real life people, but I have to be honest and I don't know the rumours. So based on it purely as a "fictional" film. I thought it was a masterpiece. Wrap up warm on the sofa with cushions, blanket and hot chocolate or tea and watch these two suffer with the ever changing weather when camping. Cheer them on and see the beautiful relationship they have with each other. Tbh it is unbelievable and absolute madness in moths condition, but it's a film.

With or without the Facts of the so called Winns, this film fails to get off the ground, fails to dig deeply anywhere and virtually skirts over everything, strangely vague. On a factual basis they were seen on the coastal path walking in the wrong direction, along with incorrect mileages and time scales. All in all, shallow without depth and largely incorrect on many fronts.
