What to Know

Critics Consensus

An urgent warning that feels like it's arriving a little too late, Aaron Sorkin's spiritual sequel to one of his crowning achievements is a worthwhile critique of social media's omnipresence that nonetheless pales in comparison to its predecessor.

Mikey Madison, Jeremy Allen-White, and Jeremy Strong are a trio to be reckoned with, bringing impressive emotional weight to a sobering exploration of investigative tech reporting.

Sorkin’s lack of directing/filmmaking talent combined with tonal whiplash and murky delivery winds up rendering The Social Reckoning far less West Wing and far more (derogatory) The Newsroom. Congratulations, Captain Hindsight, this was all very bad. Go to Full Review
