Will M. @RT44810610 Apr 4 There’s a special kind of confidence required to make a heist movie in a world where Ocean’s Eleven already exists—and The Vault walks in like it’s got the blueprints, the backup plan, and at least three more plans hidden in its sleeve. Thankfully, it mostly delivers. The film follows a group of highly skilled individuals attempting to pull off a near-impossible break-in, because apparently “extremely difficult” just isn’t challenging enough anymore. From the start, The Vault leans hard into clever plotting, tense buildup, and the kind of “wait…that was part of the plan?” moments that make heist movies so fun. Overall, it was enjoyable for entertainment, but the ending was unsatisfying. **SPOILER WARNING** If Francis Drake buried his treasure in the same coordinates that are now the Bank of London, how was it not found when the bank's foundation was being constructed? Also, I'm not certain, but would plate tectonics and the fact that the Earth shifts possibly impact the modern day coordinates to vary from those from the time of Drake? **END SPOILER WARNING** See more Igor S @Igor_Sena Sep 12 It's one of those movies that is very formulaic and has a ton of plot holes, but is decent enough to pass the time, if you're looking for a dumb/don't think about it movie. See more Jack A @RT20275831 Aug 23 Yawn. Best part is Freddie Highmore's attempts to act. He has a massive repetoir of one facial expression throughout ( he might have also frowned once). He looks like a stunned mullet at all times, thank God there were no sex scenes he was in ( or did I fall asleep?), I just can't imagine how ( un) realistic those would be with him staring straight ahead, blinkless, at all times.
