See more Paula C @RT66562047 Apr 6 Filmed in the style of a documentary, the film dragged and could have really cut out 45 minutes of unnecessary parts of the story, was draining and slow watching two old people mooch about the house and wait for them to flip out, each day is documented, which adds to the feeling of it dragging, the only part that is at all decent oz when they go on the skype call and show their mum outside where the Nana and pop pop are that she drops a bombshell! So the last 20 minutes are worth watching! I don't get dirty nappy scene it was just gross and stupid! Unless it was because he was a germaphobe! But the hidden nappies were just weird and night time weirdness! All in all just a freaky movie and I feel like it was a crap apart from last bit where they had a bit of a panic on! The rapper kid was sweet! But best Give it a skip See more Torben E @Torben Apr 3 I was surprised by this movie, in every way. M. Night Shyamalan movies are something like a hit or miss for me. Some are amazing and innovative, many feel rather so-so. So I skipped "The Visit" by its release and watched it on Netflix many years later. And it was a very interesting, decent experience. The movie is well-written, the actors are amazing and it's really scary. With approx. 90 minutes it's neither too long nor to short. The horror itself doesn't really come from supernatural elements but from odd behavior and an overall feeling that something is very, very wrong in that house. The found footage-style works unexpectedly well for this movie ("Blair Witch Project" says hello...) and another pleasant surprise was the humor. A scary film that has humor in it? Yes. And it works just fine. Some scenes might feel a bit too surreal to be believable and the end might not satisfy everyone but all in all this small horror movie is definitely worth a watch (at night).
