This lean, mean, R-rated action machine is better than you'd think since Momoa and Bautista take the time, between fights and jokes, to examine the bruised places in the hearts of these half brothers. You feel for them, and that makes all the difference.

The ridiculous antics of Beverly Hills Cop, add a little 48 Hrs. here and there, some Rush Hour and finish it off with some Bad Boys action, that'll get you Ángel Manuel Soto's The Wrecking Crew.

This was a fun watch. I think Jason Momoa was a perfect fit for this role. His jokes and personalities did not feel forced like they have in other movies. Also, Dave Bautista (slimmed down) was a great addition to this cast. When characters are casted correctly for roles and not cast because of their popularity you get a good product and that is exactly what The Wrecking Crew is.

Entertaining feel good buddy cop style movie. easy watching and fun. However, The biggest issue for me was the firearms ... so so stupid in 2026 we shouldnt have to deal with things like a six shot revolver firing with no weight or the correct sound design. a m249 saw firing like a 50 cal. just pulls you out of the film.

The plot is threadbare and stupid. The action scenes require much suspension of disbelief.. and not in a good Kill Bill sort of way. And the movie is about 30 minutes too long. That all said, the Bautista-Momoa thing was a positive. Bautista does a decent, if maybe understated, job, but Momoa is really carrying this with his charisma. PS: Does everyone who lives in Hawaii have to get run through an ink printer?
