A lot of care and attention were obviously devoted to selecting locations, designing sets, and grooming handlebar mustaches. Much less attention went to making one believe that any of the events took place circa 1879. Go to Full Review Matt Mueller Empire Magazine Apr 1, 2009

Leaburn O @RT35452347 3 days ago Has some merit in making a fun depiction of Wyatt and Doc but it felt a bit ridiculous and romanticised. There are better versions of the OK Corral on film. Watched on Disney. See more Mike R @RT49123036 Oct 24, 2026 Great western. It’s my 2nd favorite western. I still like Young Guns more but Val Kilmer puts in an all time performance. At the time of its release in 93 there was also KC Whyat ERP However of the two this is in my opinion the best. While it may have had a poor response upon its release it’s this one that people talk about and is shown on tv. Implying that perhaps there’s something about it that means it’s a good movie and in my option the best of the two. A great western that deserves more praise than it was first given.
