An overconfident young man learning how not to be a bastard probably should be the story of more movies than it is. I have seen better examples of the form than this, though the writing and acting make it well worth the ticket price.

Very light watch. Feel good movie and coming of age story disguised as biopic. Focuses on Bourdain's summer in Provincetown where he discovered his passion for cooking. The movie was quality all around.

It was a good movie and very interesting how he got started in Cooking. He went from writing a novel to cooking seems like in just one summer, few short months.

What a great movie. I didn’t watch much of anthony Bordains show while he was alive. That doesn’t matter too much for this movie. Showing the origins of him getting into his career. Showing the rough crowd of the kitchen and how he got there. All the acting was insanely good. Which makes me think the directing was great. I don’t know how close to his actual story it is but great movie.
