Toy 2 is colorful and funny, and the computer-animation from Pixar Animation Studios creates a convincingly detailed environment for the toys. Go to Full Review

Toy Story 2 is a brilliant example of that rarest of Hollywood phenomena a sequel to a major hit film thats as good, if not better, than the original. Go to Full Review

Maj B @Minegraphocs 2d It used so much sgi and a lot of characters have greenscrening lines left! See more Sam @SamColacito 5d My Rotten Tomatoes score: 🍅 See more mirage Z. @miragezero 6d this is by far my favorite toy story movie, it has great character development, great story and i love the new characters plus the comedy aspect is still on point. See more Jens B @Jens97 Feb 8 The technological advancements are impressive (shadows, reflections, and refractions can now be depicted more realistically), and I'm looking forward to the fur effects in "Monsters, Inc." (The dog's fur in "Toy Story 2" is simply a pattern on otherwise smooth skin). The story and characters are fun and heartwarming, and many of the gags still land perfectly. What bothers me is that Woody holds the group together, stands up for everyone, etc.—only to then suddenly have himself shipped off to Japan?! This central conflict of the film felt completely unmotivated to me. However, "Toy Story 2" is so good that it hardly matters. See more K G Jan 30 The Best One Yet of "Toy Story". In this, we get introduced to more characters, such as Barbie, Jessie (my favourite out of the franchise) & Bullseye. Even the characters get to see their origin stories. Woody was the star of an old TV show, "Woody & the Round-up Gang". We even learn about Jessie's backstory in the "When She Loved Me" montage. This all suggests that even toys should not get left behind. I want to get into the identity dilemma: there is another Buzz Lightyear toy in Al's Toy Barn tried to trap away the original Buzz Lightyear. Then I liked when he said to his enemy: YOU KILLED ME FATHER! But he turns out to be his father (like "Star Wars: the Empire Strikes Back") & they play as father & son. No Toy left behind whether fine or damaged & you will have a friend in you.
