Brendan L @Brendan99LL Feb 9 I watched this movie as a kid and I actively watch this movie once every month, and it still remains in my top 3 favorite movies of all time. First of all, the animation is stunning, some of my favorite that I have ever had the privilege to experience. Personally, this movie hits me right in the feels, and it still manages to make me feel a certain way. This movie only got better the older I got, the more I realized that the people in my life will act a certain way and there is nothing that I can do to change that, and that I am great. This unique movie told an incredible story with raw emotion, and I am grateful that I was able to experience and currently experience what Treasure Planet is trying to evoke in us. See more Jesus B Feb 7 Primero que nada debo señalar que me sorprende la calificación que se le ha dado a esta película porque tengo que admitir que es una película bastante interesante y muy bien ejecutada en cuanto a la calidad del dibujo, arte, tecnología y efectos visuales implementados. Considero que la película queda un poco corta en cuanto a diálogo y guión, pero es maravillosa en su mayoría. Recomiendo la película a cualquiera que disfrute y le guste el género de aventura y animación. No obstante, no la recomiendo para niños pequeños ya que tiene un trasfondo de una tonalidad que ellos tal vez no alcancen a apreciar hasta ser más grandes. Igualmente disfrutarán de la animación y la aventura, pero sólamente los adultos la comprenderan mejor. Personally, I've never read the story, "Treasure island" but I absolutely LOVE sci-fi and I ADORED this. The alien designs and spaceships are SOOO COOOOL!!! THE ROBOT IS SOOO FUNNNY TOOO! It's such a fun space adventure in my opinion. Voice acting was great as well and so was the animation. Joseph Gorden-Levitt's Jim Hawkins is a really charming protagonist and I think he had good chemistry with Brian Murray's John Silver. James Newton Howard's score also completely ELEVATES the thrilling action sequences. Totally worth a watch if you love both animation and sci-fi. Can't recommend it enough. See more Read all reviews
