A dark, delusional piece of sultry fantasia that doesn’t condemn or condone Connie or Ed’s choices. It simply presents people surprised by the ease with which they transgress and allow little white lies to fester into gigantic, tumorous deceptions.

Connie seems citified, but quaintly naive. No woman with sense would leave him in a dress and heels to go to the big city in gale force winds. The premise makes women look vain and trivial.

It was a good watch. spoiler alert: Considering that the focus was more the family dynamics and the drama of the affair, the part with the investigation of the murder is clearly full of plot holes and how they seemingly got away with it - at least that's what the viewers were left with.
