Brandon L @stoopih Oct 25, 2026 Just as bad as the first movie if not worse. At least the supernatural element in the first one allowed for more mystery around the evil entity. This one is just a bunch of corny, internet edgelords on the darkweb. The twist at the end of the movie really emphasizes that. The "hacking" is portrayed in the most ridiculous way possible. There are ways to make this concept scary. What they decided to do here might be the worst option. Compared to the first movie, you could actually see the deaths. They're just really.. laughable. It's hard to take anything in this film seriously. Fun bad type of watch like the first movie for sure. See more Nolan M @vyzee Oct 22, 2026 Jesus fucking Christ. See more Declan D @filmbuffkid Sep 12, 2026 Uh.. yeah it was good, So this film takes a different approach in this film compared to its predecessor with the first one dealing with supernatural horror, this one shifts into Crime thriller. I like the idea of each unfriended film doing different genres for each film and having new characters for each one, and I like the idea that a character with ASL is put into this to have a shine to the audience that do ASL like what “The shape of water” did when they had the main character being mute and doing sign language. And just like the first film, while not perfect it’s still enjoyable. But even though that this was a crime thriller it didn’t have that many scares compared to the first film. And I honestly like the crime aspect of this film compared to its predecessor revolving around a person’s suicide because crime is a more common topic that people like talking about more than the first film’s premise. And the plot twist was great. Overall, it’s as good as its predecessor. 7.1/10 See more Rowan C @RowanC3 Sep 10, 2026 Unfriended: Dark Web was a bit better than the first one, and I actually think this movie did a decent job. Instead of ghosts, this movie has to do with actual human beings. All of these friends were caught in the crossfire because Matias O'Brian (Colin Woodell) stole a random computer. I think what really did it for me was the insane twist at the end of the movie, and how it was perfectly set up from the start. This hacker group called the "Circle" did messed-up stuff, and their goal was to flip all of their actions onto another group of people. They slowly killed off everyone in the group, and they did it all through their ability to hack anything in their way. The kills themselves were creative, and they were done better in the second film. They took two different approaches with this kind of movie, and I have to say that I like the second approach more because being humans made it even more frightening. Overall, I enjoyed this style of horror, and I think this movie is overhated. See more The W @TheWagners Jul 4, 2026 This movie is a little better than the first but only a little. It still suffers from the same stupid jump scares. There's absolutely no character development and they tried too hard with the cgi making some parts laughable when they are supposed to be serious. Definitely pass on this movie. See more Read all reviews
