See more Avian S @Avianthemovielover Aug 7 Hello I must be fair I really like this movie even if it is a tad convoluted but movies are about enjoyment a movie could have a perfect plot, perfect story, but if it's boring who'll watch it? Nobody. That's my point a good movie is entertaining and has a good message I'm currently watching it a second time during this review it's had me hooked!! The style, the soundtrack, the characters, the humor, it's amazing I can admit it's flaws though the story feels a tad rushed and convoluted. Not to mention some characters weren't fully fleshed out like Kat's mom and dad but I did like how Siobhan, Sloane, and Sweetie weren't typical mean girls to be fair I really liked Raúl he was cool I liked his art project I'm kinda glad it was an important plot device also Wendell and Wild were super duper funny all in all I recommend this movie if you're look for a funny yet eerie movie overall for me this movie is a solid 8/10 maybe a 9/10. Thought it's as good as I remember it the visuals are nice. The dplot is okay though not the best. I feel like it does get the political point across fairly well. Rated PG-13, it sits in an awkward limbo: its far too dark, politically heavy, and saturated with casual occultism for kids, yet too juvenile and cartoonish to engage adults. The plot goal is entirely choked out by an overstuffed narrative, rather than focusing on its main character, the film forces a clunky, preachy message about the private prison industrial complex alongside bizarre lore featuring a "Hell Maiden" summoning demons with blood rituals and a demonic toy named "Bear-ze-bub." By treating its underworld elements with a mix of irreverence and literal torture, it fumbles any coherent moral framework about good versus evil, replacing genuine storytelling with chaotic, unearned resolution. Implementing how to summon demons like Beelzabulb, but changes his name to a kid friendly bearsluzblub. These aren't nothing to play with its planting seeds in their mind. The little girl is a witch who can summon demons trying to bring back her dead parents. If you let your child watch this then you ask for what you get. This movie plants evel seeds.
