Declan D @filmbuffkid 1d Now This is how you do a book adaptation alongside Marvel and DC, Everything about this film is perfect, The score, the acting, the plot, the characters everything about this movie is perfect. And this film is so relatable with being different from the crowd, either it’s ADHD or anything different like face deformation which is shown in this film. But I gotta say some of the things that the bully’s say in this movie are so absurd, and I love how this movie takes so much originality from people being different and how bullying effects others, and another thing that I absolutely adore this movie for doing is having a perspective on individual characters that are brought together in the end, and that’s what Weapons did last year and the concept of that is a masterful piece of storytelling, and I absolutely love the performances every single actor/actress did a phenomenal job with the film, This film works, “Regretting you” does not. Overall, it’s a heartwarming and beautiful film. 9.8/10 See more Joel H @786Joel Aug 27 It’s no wonder that Wonder has touched many people’s heart as they watched it. This movie knows what it’s doing. Even under all the prosthetic makeup, little Jacob Tremblay is able to emote in a way that feels real. He becomes Auggie. And even as the movie occasionally sways gently into the overly sentimental, his performance always seems genuine. And it’s interesting how Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson are side characters to his story. I also don’t want to overlook Izabela Vidovic who is fantastic in the role of the forgotten child. Yes, Wonder may be slightly melodramatic, but it has a good heart. This movie shows you different perspectives of elementary schoolers, high schoolers, and adults. It all comes together so nicely and it is nearly a perfect representation of the novel. No matter how many times I watch it , it brings me to tears. Would have to be one of favourite movies ever. Julia Robert’s was amazing I think it’s her best role yet. I felt her every word.
