When the government finds out that a group of terrorists has infiltrated its ranks, and the group is being trained by high-ranking official George Deckert (Willem Dafoe), NSA Agent Augustus Gibbons (Samuel L. Jackson) hires an ex-con to bring down the nefarious plot. Thinking he can trust no one in the government, Augustus springs Darius Stone (Ice Cube), who once trained under him, from prison. Although Darius is a loose cannon, Augustus is convinced he is the only man for the job.

This is the middle one of a middling trio of entries in the franchise, with regular star Vin Diesel replaced by a particularly burly and surly Ice Cube. End result: no-one wins.

Filme mais ou menos, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são mais ou menos, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom

This movie asks this question. How did the January 6th rebels fail to take country? Because, according to this film, Washington has poorer defences than your average drug ridden neighbourhood McDonalds with security. Forget everything you know about the geography of DC, physics, chain of command and their related protocols. Samuel J is the best thing in this and we sadly see little enough of him.

Filme: Triplo X 2 Assistido: Nov./24 Elenco: @icecube @willemdafoesact @samuelljackson @scottspeedman @lovenonagaye @sunnymabrey Modelo: #ação #espionagem Duração: 1h 41m Ano: 2005 Minha opinião: Um filme que estrelado por Vin Disel foi um show, mas com Ice Cube deixou a desejar, sempre com a cara fechada que já é do seu normal. Mas a falta de expressão acaba sim afetando ainda mais como protagonista. Diferente Vin Disel. Mas é um filme cheio de ação, mas aqui não tem a fase do recrutamenteo e treinamento que houve no 1º filme. Aqui temos o general que quer tomar o lugar do presidente do EUA e para isso trama uma conspiração. E para isso ele neutraliza o Dept. XXX e incrimina Augustus e sua equipe de traição. Assim Darius (Cube) entra em ação. A partes do filme que extrapolam como o canhão no porta aviões. Roteiro e enredo tudo nesse filme é mediano, e mediano em Holywood, não é bom sinal. Vale apena assistir? Para quem for curioso. Nota: 4
