Angie Han The Hollywood Reporter Feb 2
Theoretically, then, Vanished should hit some of the same pleasure centers that The Flight Attendant did. Instead, this miniseries plays like a version of that story with all its personality and ambition removed. Go to Full Review

“Vanished” often feels like a slighter redux of a mode Cuoco has already explored at greater length and depth. Go to Full Review

It ends with the right amount of closure and spice. Go to Full Review

This series has mild chemistry and a lukewarm mystery. Go to Full Review

Despite the ever-charming presence of Cuoco and fantastic European vistas, Vanished just feels slight and predictable, and even borderline implausible. Go to Full Review

It is not terrible, just mostly hollow. Kaley Cuoco seems to have misplaced the comic instincts that make her so likable. Go to Full Review

Josiel S @TioRao 1d I thought the series started well with the first episode. The second one makes us want to learn more about the plot and everything that’s going on. But then comes the third episode, which is an insult to the viewer’s intelligence. Those scenes with Alice and Helene following Alex, and at no point does he notice that blue Audi tailing him across the entire city, always just 30 to 40 metres behind and Alex doesn’t realise he’s being followed. And then there’s the way Alice runs desperately through the streets chasing Tom, even though she’s wanted by the police and there are alerts about her all over the city. See more Y K @Yousefq80 5d Spoiler alert ⚠️ Yawn. Repeats of many similar stories. Started interesting but they vague and not make sense, specially that french lady in the train who ends up being a journalist and become involved....seriously!!!! See more Nik @Nikita66 5d hmm, well, I wish this were simpler, less life and death. And Cuoco still looks and acts like the girl from Big Bang. Apparently she financed this show, but I wouldn't have cast her in this role. Nice that it's shot in France though. See more Honz @hansi Feb 9 Kaley Cuoco is so bad,.... See more Sidney G @sidglimmer Feb 7 I LOVE The Big Bang Theory with just a few exceptions; the biggest being the casting of Penny. SO many other female actresses could have been selected for her part. Kaley Cucco is NOT a good actress for comedy. She is absolutely horrible in any serious role like she tries to play in this TV Series, Vanished. She is also WAY NOT HOT. She wasn’t HOT when she was young in the Big Bang Theory and she certainly hasn’t aged into a HOT woman either. I couldn’t get past the first 20 minutes of the Vanished debut episode. Same thing with Flight Attendant; I tried really hard to like her in that show but couldn’t get past the second episode. Kaley Cucco is a B Actress at best and shouldn’t be considered for any Lead Role in any future TV Series or Movie!! See more Edward L @Glyndower Feb 6 One of those annoying thriller series that starts with some action and then up comes the 'Seven days earlier' subtitle. Don't the writers have any imagination? Most of it looks like a travelogue, stock shots of Paris, Marseille etc and any mystery is dispersed on the boyfriend's first appearance when it is clear that he is a villain while Kaley Cuoco is simply irritating. Avoid. See more Read all reviews
